How Can You Fix Errors On Your Credit Report To Be Able To Get A Job When No Job Will Hire You To Do So?

Friday Mar 12, 2010

I just wanted to know because if someone has bad credit how can they fix it by paying off their debts when they don’t have a job to earn the money to do so when no jobs will hire them because of the poor credit? I understand why some places (Banks, Cashiers Position etc.) don’t for the fear of the person may steal but what about the other jobs out there?

You can only "fix" something on your credit history if it’s an erroneous item. Otherwise, your credit history follows you – that’s the whole point of it.

Find a job that doesn’t require a credit check…I wasn’t aware ANY employers did a credit check.

FYI: A background check and a credit check are not the same thing. Almost every employer will do a background check. That has nothing to do with your finances.
